Who will you obey?

Catholic leaders are not wanting Catholics to speak in the name of Yahweh.
"(T)wo Vatican officials noted that "Liturgiam Authenticam," the congregation's 2001 document on liturgical translations, stated that "the name of almighty God expressed by the Hebrew Tetragrammaton and rendered in Latin by the word 'Dominus,' is to be rendered into any given vernacular by a word equivalent in meaning."

Believe it or not, this admonition by Catholic leaders is not new.

First Century followers of Yahshua's teachings encountered the same dilemma.

"When they had brought them, they set them before the council. The high priest questioned them, saying, "Didn't we strictly charge you not to teach in this name? Behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man's blood on us."

"But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Yahshua, whom you killed, hanging him on a tree. God exalted him with his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins. We are His witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him." (Acts 5:27 - 32), and in Acts 19:23 - 28;

"About that time there arose no small stir concerning the Way. For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines of Artemis, brought no little business to the craftsmen, whom he gathered together, with the workmen of like occupation, and said,

"Sirs, you know that by this business we have our wealth. You see and hear, that not at Ephesus alone, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they are no gods, that are made with hands. Not only is there danger that this our trade come into disrepute, but also that the temple of the great goddess Artemis will be counted as nothing, and her majesty destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worships."

"When they heard this they were filled with anger, and cried out, saying, "Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!""

So then;

It's time to ask your self: What is it that יהוה wants me to do?

Here's a riddle for you from Proverbs 30:4 (WEB translation):

"Who has ascended up into heaven, and descended?

Who has gathered the wind in his fists?

Who has bound the waters in his garment?

Who has established all the ends of the earth?

What is his name, and what is his son's name, if you know?

Since 'Every word of God is flawless (and) He is a shield to those who take refuge in him, don't you add to his words, Lest he reprove you, and you be found a liar', thousands of years ago the Psalmists prophesied:

"This will be written for the generation to come. A people which will be created will praise Yah." (Psalms 102:18), and

"All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to Yahweh. All the relatives of the nations shall worship before you. For the kingdom is Yahweh's. He is the ruler over the nations. All the rich ones of the earth shall eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust shall bow before him, Even he who can't keep his soul alive. Posterity shall serve him. Future generations shall be told about the Lord. They shall come and shall declare his righteousness to a people that shall be born, For he has done it. (Psalms 22:27 - 31)

And, יהוה had Malachi record;

"I, Yahweh, don't change; therefore you, sons of Jacob, are not consumed. From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from my ordinances, and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you," . . . "But you say, 'How shall we return?'

"Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me! But you say, 'How have we robbed you?' In tithes and offerings.

"You are cursed with the curse; for you rob me, even this whole nation. Bring the whole tithe into the store-house, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this," says Yahweh of hosts, "if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough for. I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast its fruit before its time in the field," says Yahweh of Hosts. "All nations shall call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land," says Yahweh of Hosts.

"Then those who feared Yahweh spoke one with another; and Yahweh listened, and heard, and a book of memory was written before him, for those who feared Yahweh, and who honored his name.

"They shall be mine," says Yahweh of Hosts, "my own possession in the day that I make, and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him. Then you shall return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God and him who doesn't serve him." (Malachi 3:6 - 18)

Therefore; Consider:

How do I pay a tithe of nothing?

If I produce debt what am I tithing to Yahweh's storehouse?

When debt based "bills" are used in tithes and offering aren't I really storing up profits and food in the houses of those who print the money that I tithed or offered?

When I tithe and offer with debt based money, am I not robbing יהוה?

(Exo 15:3) Yahweh is a man of war. Yahweh is his name.

(Jer 33:2) Thus says Yahweh who does it, Yahweh who forms it to establish it; Yahweh is his name:

(Hos 12:5) Even Yahweh, the God of hosts; Yahweh is his name of renown!

(Amo 5:8) Seek him who made the Pleiades and Orion, And turns the shadow of death into the morning, And makes the day dark with night; Who calls for the waters of the sea, And pours them out on the surface of the earth, Yahweh is his name,

(Amo 9:6) It is he who builds his chambers in the heavens, and has founded his vault on the earth; he who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the surface of the earth; Yahweh is his name.
